About this Pharmacy & Drug Store

Welcome to our CVS Pharmacy® in the Target at 10621 Carmenita Road in Santa Fe Springs. Located in the Gateway Plaza, we are conveniently near schools, professional services and parks. Come into our pharmacy on your way to work, after dropping your kids at school or whenever you want to save time and money when completing your errands.

Immunizations for school and travel

If your child is heading to camp or college, make sure their vaccinations are up to date. Visit CVS.com or stop by the pharmacy counter in Target to find out what shots are recommended based on their age. The CDC recommends being vaccinated before leaving the country. Pharmacists can advise you on the immunizations and how long it takes for them to be fully activated. Shots can be administered as part of our walk-in clinic services. Appointments are not required in many cases, but they are accepted. We can provide vaccinations for teens, adults and seniors 65 and older.

If your workplace, community center or senior living facility is nearby, ask about scheduling a flu clinic. Pharmacists come to you and bring all of the supplies needed. The only fees are for shots and administration.

Expert care and advice

When you stop by the pharmacy counter, ask to speak with a pharmacist when picking up a new prescription. They can review your medication history and provide information regarding potential interactions with other medicines. From vitamins and supplements to allergy remedies and cough medicine, they can discuss common side-effects and offer advice for alternatives. Pharmacists can also recognize medications that may have duplicate effects, which may cause issues.

The label provides information about the contents of the bottle or packet, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. Can you have a glass of wine when you’re taking antibiotics? Should you take the medication with a meal or on an empty stomach? Will taking it with milk prevent an upset stomach or cause issues?  Pharmacists can answer these questions and more.

Ask about our personalized multi-dose packs. If you take more than one prescription a day, these packets can save you time and help keep you organized. They are stored in an easy to use dispenser box. Just tear the strip between packs for your entire day’s dose. Each packet is labeled with the medication names, description and dosage.

Convenient Prescription Delivery

When life gets busy, stopping to pick up prescriptions may not be at the top of your list. Use our mobile prescription services on the app or call our pharmacy location to have medications, home goods and more delivered to your door in one to two days. Having your order delivered is easy. When you receive the notification that your script is ready:

  • Sign in to the app
  • Select your delivery option and location
  • Acknowledge your order
  • Enter a payment method

A text will notify you when the courier picks up the order, so you’ll know it’s on the way. You do not need to be at home, and no signature is required.
