The cost of an eye exam will vary depending on the services provided, the cost of glasses or contacts ordered, and insurance coverage. Some insurances accepted by CVS Optical include Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, MetLife, and more. Your CVS Optical provider can answer any questions you may have about insurance acceptance and your insurance benefit eligibility. We also accept FSA/HSA benefits.

At our Optical Centers, Doctors of Optometry can provide complete eye exams, contact lens exams, contact fittings and evaluations, and diagnoses of select eye infections and chronic diseases. Other services offered include free glasses adjustments, cleanings, and free custom frame fittings.

An eye exam includes a series of tests to assess your vision and eye health. This could include general vision tests and/or tests to diagnose common vision problems . You will also discuss any vision or eye concerns you may have with your optometrist. Prescriptions for eyeglasses and/or contact lenses are provided if needed.

If you wear contacts, we offer services including contact lens exams, contact lens fittings, and contact lens evaluations. We carry major contact brands like Acuvue , Soflens , and Biofinity . CVS Optical also has a selection of specialty contact lenses such as toric, multifocal, and colored contacts .
