COUGH SUPPRESSANT AND EXPECTORANT: This cold medicine temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation and helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive. Directions: take only as directed - see overdose warning; do not exceed 8 caplets per 24 hrs; adults & children 12 yrs & over: 2 caplets with water every 4 hrs; children 4 to under 12 yrs: ask a doctor; children under 4 yrs: do not use.

Warnings: Liver Warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you exceed 4,000 mg in 24 hours, combine with other acetaminophen-containing drugs, or consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily. Allergy Alert: Acetaminophen can cause severe skin reactions, including reddening, blisters, and rash. Stop use and seek immediate medical help if a skin reaction occurs. Sore Throat Warning: Consult a doctor promptly if a severe sore throat persists for over 2 days and is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting. Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription) unless directed by a doctor. If unsure, ask a doctor or pharmacist. Consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, enlarged prostate gland, excessive cough with phlegm, or persistent/chronic cough related to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if taking the blood-thinning drug warfarin. Use as directed; do not exceed recommended dosage. Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness, worsening pain, nasal congestion, cough lasting over 7 days, worsening fever, redness or swelling, new symptoms, or recurring cough with rash or headache. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Overdose Warning: In case of overdose, seek immediate medical help or contact a Poison Control Center (1-800-222-1222). Quick medical attention is crucial for adults and children, even without visible signs or symptoms.
