Allows natural hearing and situational awareness when no background noise is present and gradually protects from vehicles or machinery. The dual mode system uses the low mode to protect you from any loud noises over 85 decibels. With the mode switch up you are placed into an enhancement mode where you get up to 5X enhancement to a limit of 105 decibels. When the unit is not in use, please listen to the earbud and make sure the unit is turned off
WHILE IN USE:
1. Flip the MODE SWITCH down to enter “Protection Mode" which provides protection from sound above 85db while delivering natural hearing
2. Flip the MODE Switch up to enter “ENHANCEMENT MODE" which provides enhancement up to SX to a limit of 10db
Please be aware of sound levels when in this mode
3. Insert the accessory neck cord in the NECK CORD CONNECTION on both earbuds if a neck cord is required during use
