Childhood vaccines are available at health care provider offices, pharmacies and health clinics. You can also schedule a vaccine appointment at a nearby MinuteClinic® location for no cost with most insurance.
DTaP, MMR, polio and varicella vaccines are required for children entering school in almost every state, and the meningitis (meningococcal) vaccine is required for entry into later grades in many states. To find out what vaccines are required in your area, contact your local school district or specific college.
Back to school is a great time to evaluate which vaccines may be needed. Your pharmacist or trained MinuteClinic providers can administer vaccinations, including meningitis (meningococcal), DTaP for kids, flu and COVID-19.
