If you currently have Anthem Insurance, read on for some questions and answers to guide you through the process.

Does MinuteClinic accept Anthem insurance?

Yes, MinuteClinic does accept Anthem Insurance. You should check that your Anthem insurance plan currently covers Virtual Care. We also recommend that you contact Anthem insurance before visiting or before scheduling an appointment, just to make sure that you're covered. The amount you will owe depends on what your plan covers and the type of care you receive. If you prefer, you may also pay out-of-pocket using cash, checks* or credit card if you are currently uninsured or prefer to pay for the service yourself.

MinuteClinic does not accept checks at our clinics inside Target.

Can I use Anthem Insurance for a Virtual Care visit?

We accept most insurance plans for our Virtual Care services. This includes Anthem. However, you should contact Anthem to ensure that your plan will cover a Virtual Care visit with us. The availability of Virtual Care will also depend on your location. To see if MinuteClinic offers Virtual Care in your state, access our virtual care page.

Where can I find a MinuteClinic that accepts Anthem insurance?

Anthem Insurance is accepted at most of our MinuteClinic locations. To find one near you, visit our online clinic locator page and enter your zip code or city and state.

If I don't have Anthem insurance, how much will MinuteClinic cost?

Without Anthem insurance, most patients can pay for our MinuteClinic services directly out of pocket. The cost of the service you receive depends on your specific health concerns and how many symptoms your health care provider will need to address. Lab costs may result in an additional charge, so be sure to check our latest price list for more detailed cost information. This page also addresses any additional restrictions that may apply.

We also accept insurance from other providers. If you do not have Anthem insurance but are covered by another insurance provider, you may be able to use that insurance at MinuteClinic. You should always check with your provider to get the best understanding of your coverage, but you can also visit our Online Insurance Checker to quickly see if MinuteClinic does or does not accept your insurance plan.
