Does MinuteClinic accept Kaiser Permanente insurance?
MinuteClinic does accept Kaiser Permanente insurance. Check with your provider to confirm that your Kaiser Permanente insurance plan covers Virtual Care. To make sure you’re covered, we recommend that you contact Kaiser Permanente before you schedule an appointment. The total amount you owe will depend on the type of plan you currently have and what that plan covers. You may also pay for services out-of-pocket via cash, check*, or credit card if you are uninsured or if you prefer to pay for everything on your own.
* MinuteClinic does not accept checks at our clinics inside Target.
Can I use Kaiser Permanente insurance for a Virtual Care visit?
We accept most insurance plans for our Virtual Care services. This includes Kaiser Permanente. However, you should contact Kaiser Permanente to make sure that your particular plan will cover a Virtual Care visit with us. The availability of Virtual Care will also depend on your location. To see if you MinuteClinic offers Virtual Care in your state, access our virtual care page.
Where can I find a MinuteClinic that accepts Kaiser Permanente insurance?
Most MinuteClinic locations accept Kaiser Permanente and other major insurance providers. You can search for a MinuteClinic location near you by entering your zip code or city and state at our online clinic locator page.
If I don't have Kaiser Permanente insurance, how much will MinuteClinic cost?
Without Kaiser Permanente insurance, most patients can pay directly for any MinuteClinic services via debit, checks or credit card, or with most FSA/HSA cards. The cost of the service you receive will depend on your unique health concerns and how many symptoms your health care provider will need to address. Please note that lab costs may result in an additional charge. You can check our most recent price list to get more detailed pricing information and to learn about any applicable restrictions.
We also accept insurance from other providers. If you do not have Kaiser Permanente insurance but are covered by another insurance provider, you may be able to use that insurance at MinuteClinic. You should always check with your provider to get the best understanding on your coverage, but you can also visit our Online Insurance Checker to quickly see if MinuteClinic does or does not accept your insurance plan.
