How Much to Spend on Christmas Gifts
Christmas can get expensive if you have many people to buy gifts for, as you also may need to factor the cost of food and decorations into your total spending limit. Ultimately, it's your budget and relationship with people in your life that help you determine how much to spend on presents. However, even small gifts can brighten someone's day.
If you're on a strict budget, it can be helpful to write down your total spending limit and allocate part of that amount to each person you're buying for. Some inexpensive Christmas gift ideas include eye masks, bath bombs and yoga supplies. You could also create a personalized holiday photo gift, such as a mug or journal.
How to Wrap Christmas Gifts
To wrap gifts neatly, gather basic gift-wrapping supplies, such as paper, transparent tape, ribbon and bows.
Start by placing the present on the wrapping paper, and cut a piece large enough to accommodate the gift. Fold one side of the paper just over the edge of the present, then position the other side across the gift's length to meet the first edge, and tape it in place.
For the gift wrap's other two open sides, fold the corners inward first to create a tidy, triangular shape that helps prevent the paper from billowing out. Tuck the top in, then fold the lower half of the paper over it and tape it down. Do the same for the other side. You can personalize the gift further using a ribbon, bow and gift tag if you like.

*FOR ORDER PICKUP: Simply place your order online and we'll have it waiting for you at the store in as soon as one hour. Colleagues will begin packing orders 30 mins after store opening. 24 hour stores will begin packing orders at 8am. Any order placed by 8:00pm will be ready the same day. If a store closes prior to 8:00 pm, orders placed 90 minutes before store closure will be available same day. If a store closes less than 90 minutes after 8:00pm, orders placed 90 minutes before store closure will be available same day. Holidays may impact store pickup availability hours. CVS reserves the right to limit the quantity of items ordered for pickup, as well as the days of the year and daily hours this service is offered. When your order is ready, you'll receive a "Ready for pickup" email (separate from your order confirmation email) with additional instructions. To pick up your order, go in the store’s checkout counter and ask a colleague for assistance. After picking up your order, we'll send a "Your order was picked up" confirmation email.
