Unisex Deodorant

Unisex deodorant works for women and men to control odors and help keep you feeling fresh all day. You can shop online for personal care products at CVS, which has a large selection.

What are the Best Unisex Deodorant Brands?

What Should You Look for in Unisex Deodorant?

Many deodorant and antiperspirant products are marketed toward male or female customers, but most brands also offer a unisex option that works for either. It could take a while to find the best unisex deodorant for you, but what you're mostly looking for is a scent you like in a form that's easy to apply.

You could, for example, go for a roll-on gel deodorant, such as Gillette Clear Gel, which has fragrances such as Cool Wave and Power Rush. Or, choose a spray, such as AXE 48H High Definition Scent, which offers a fragrance called Essence. Shop around until you settle on a product form and fragrance that work for you.

What's the Difference Between Unisex Deodorant and Antiperspirant?

The biggest difference between deodorant and antiperspirant is that one allows you to sweat freely, as you normally would, while the other blocks sweat glands and reduces your body's production of sweat altogether. Antiperspirants, such as Right Guard Xtreme Defense, usually use aluminum salts to block the pores that secrete sweat. As your body senses this blockage, it shuts down your regular sweat response and prevents excessive moisture from forming.

Deodorant, on the other hand, allows you to sweat, which can help keep your temperature down if you're working or outdoors in the heat. It uses fresh-smelling fragrances to manage odor issues that this might cause.

Why Use Unisex Deodorant?

Unisex deodorant controls body odor and helps you stay feeling fresh as you sweat. Most deodorants have scented ingredients in some kind of suspension that makes them easy to apply to high-sweat areas, such as your armpits. They may be roll-on versions, such as ARM & HAMMER Essentials, or a unisex deodorant spray, such as Certain Dri Dry spray

Deodorant doesn't stop you from sweating, but it can reduce bacteria populations in areas that tend to be moist with sweat. People often choose deodorant over antiperspirant for kids or for themselves if they don't want to interrupt their body's natural sweating process.
