Traditional Easter Activities
From egg decorating to staging a giant Easter egg hunt, traditional Easter activities celebrate the season and ring in the arrival of spring. Pick out some colorful plastic eggs to fill with candy and hide around your home or yard. Make the hunt a challenge by incorporating unusual hiding places, or add extra competitive spirit to the game by offering a prize for whoever finds the most eggs.
Egg decorating kits and dye kits let you turn boiled eggs into a work of art. Stickers and embellishments add a creative touch to traditional Easter egg decorating.
Don't forget your pet this Easter season. Easter pet gifts, including dog shirts, catnip toys, dog treats and pet toys, let your canine or feline companion join in the excitement.
Fill Your Easter Baskets With Fun
Easter baskets are a family tradition for many during the Easter season, and it's easy to create your own. Whether you're waiting for the arrival of the Easter Bunny or creating a basket for someone special, here are tips for assembling an Easter basket:
First, pick a basket to collect all your treats. Braided wood and bamboo baskets are a traditional choice, but you can also find rope baskets and baskets made of rope, fabric or plastic.
Next, choose your favorite candy to fill your basket with tasty treats. Choose seasonal sweets shaped like eggs or rabbits to enhance the theme, and consider classic Easter candies, such as marshmallow chicks and solid or hollow chocolate Easter bunnies.
Finally, add basket fillers, such as small toys, games and activity books with a spring or Easter theme. Having themed activities on hand helps keep kids and adults occupied while you're busy getting ready for a big Easter meal.
Celebrating the Spring Season
Decorate your home with spring decor that sets the mood for your Easter brunch or egg decorating party. Mount a spring wreath featuring pretty floral elements to your door, and hang an Easter garland from a shelf or mantel. Tossing a few bunny-shaped pillows and plush toys on a couch or armchair adds an extra fun touch.
If you're throwing a party for Easter, stock up on bunny-themed napkins and paper plates to set the tone. Adorn your home with wooden decor featuring an Easter theme, and add a few egg-shaped candles to your table.

Customers are not required to be present for deliveries. The delivery window is only an estimate and may be subject to delays. Delivery is not available in all locations, including Puerto Rico and Hawaii. CVS reserves the right to limit the quantity of items ordered for Same-day delivery. When your order has been picked up by our trusted courier partner, you will receive a "your order is on the way" email (separate from your order confirmation email). After your order has been delivered, we will send a "your order has been delivered" email.
*FOR ORDER PICKUP: Simply place your order online and we'll have it waiting for you at the store in as soon as one hour. Colleagues will begin packing orders 30 mins after store opening. 24 hour stores will begin packing orders at 8am. Any order placed by 8:00pm will be ready the same day. If a store closes prior to 8:00 pm, orders placed 90 minutes before store closure will be available same day. If a store closes less than 90 minutes after 8:00pm, orders placed 90 minutes before store closure will be available same day. Holidays may impact store pickup availability hours. CVS reserves the right to limit the quantity of items ordered for pickup, as well as the days of the year and daily hours this service is offered. When your order is ready, you'll receive a "Ready for pickup" email (separate from your order confirmation email) with additional instructions. To pick up your order, go in the store’s checkout counter and ask a colleague for assistance. After picking up your order, we'll send a "Your order was picked up" confirmation email.
