OTC Eligible Products

How to get it
How do I use my OTC Network card on CVS.com?
If eligible, you can enter your OTC Network card as a payment method during check-out, and we’ll automatically sort qualifying products. If you have ineligible items in your cart, we’ll ask you to add another payment method. For additional information, check with your health plan provider for more details.
How do I know if I have enough funds to complete my purchase?
For balance inquiries you can use any of the following: OTC Network® member portal, OTC Network® mobile app, or call the number on the back of your card.
Why is my purchase ineligible?
Widely eligible OTC products are tagged to the OTC Benefit Store page for your convenience. When shopping elsewhere on the site, you can filter for “OTC eligible-only items” on the site’s filtering. Your health plan decides which items are eligible and your OTC benefit allowance amount. For eligibility questions, visit your OTC Network® member portal, use the OTC Network® mobile app, or call the number on the back of your card. To help shop, use the “OTC eligible-only items” filter on CVS.com and the CVS Pharmacy® app.
Do ExtraCare Rewards apply to my OTC purchases on CVS.com?
Yes! Logged in ExtraCare customers will be able to use applicable deals and rewards to OTC eligible items. For more information, check out our ExtraCare page.
How do I join ExtraCare on CVS.com?

Can I use my OTC Network card to cover shipping, pickup, or delivery fees?
For transactions including only OTC eligible items, OTC Network balances cannot be used to cover shipping or order minimum fees. Fees apply to some methods, and you can see any fees from your cart.
Shipping: Standard shipping is $4.99 or FREE with $35 purchase. Orders over 50 pounds will accrue an additional surcharge for every pound over 50 pounds. Orders outside the 48 contiguous states might include additional shipping and handling charges. Your shipping charges, including any applicable surcharges, will be clearly stated on the Verify Order page.
Pickup: Store pickup is always free! This is no charge or order minimum for store pickup. You’ll receive the online price; online and in-store prices may differ.
Same-day delivery: A minimum order total is required for Same-day delivery. You will see the amount needed to reach basket minimum when you add products to your shopping cart. Minimum order is calculated after coupons, promotions and discounts are applied. Available in most areas.

What is an OTC Benefit card?
An OTC benefit card is funded by select health plans and primarily awarded to plan members participating in an associated Medicare Advantage program. A physical OTC benefit card is provided annually to eligible members, along with a predetermined amount put onto the card that is only to be used for eligible OTC items. Depending on the health plan, funds are loaded or reloaded to the card on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. OTC funds not used during the allotment period are lost and do not roll over to the next period, unless the health plan specifically allows for a rollover period. This program enables CVS customers with an eligible OTC Network card to purchase OTC-eligible items. OTC-eligible items often include health and wellness products, such as cough and cold remedies, vitamins, and more. If an item is eligible, the cost of the item is subtracted from an OTC card’s available balance at checkout.
*FOR PAY NOTHING OUT OF POCKET: Over-the-counter (OTC) allowance benefits are included in select Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans. The allowance may only be applied to select OTC products. Allowance amount may vary by plan. Customer may be responsible for the cost of any items not covered by their plan or the cost that exceeds their allowance amount. Check with your health plan provider for more details. *FOR ELIGIBLE OTC ITEMS: Please refer to your plan documents for over-the-counter (OTC) allowance information or contact your health plan.
