TWINS!!
I did this 15 years ago and it picked the correct color of my twins. I had a boy and a girl and I believe it said the color would be green (if I remember correctly) and it was that color. I always tell friends about this that are wanting to know the gender0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendLauraReviewed 1 month agoValue Out of 5Meets expectationsOut of 5Quality Out of 5
Poor Peekaboo customer service
Disclosure, I purchased this test for someone else and there was some miscommunication on our part, but overall incredibly frustrated with this company and would recommend using a competitor product. I can’t comment on the veracity of the test, but the customer service is highly lacking especially for a time sensitive test regarding sensitive information. Poorly executed. I purchased Peekaboo as a surprise for a pregnant friend who wanted early gender results and but wasn’t feeling confident at doing a self collection test. Excited by the pain free click collect option, I shipping it through the Peekaboo site and it arrived delayed and in a damaged box. The product looked ok but the pregnant person was feeling a little extra anxious at this point given that she was already hesitant! While shipping delays are on the shipping carrier, it was frustrating as I had purchased the express option. We reached out to Peekaboo and they offered either a new kit or a full refund. Mom suggested refund as shipping a new kit would delay the test even further and was thinking she would wait until the prenatal visit to discuss genetic testing. A month goes by, and I still don’t have a refund from Peekaboo. I’ve contacted them multiple times. There has been a number of back and forth. I paid through Venmo and didn’t receive the refunded in the stated time period. I got a notification through Paypal that an attempted refund didn’t go through. When I sent Peekaboo the Paypal transaction number and noted that it had failed, they responded by saying I was paid out and to see the same transaction number I had sent them. Finally, they offered to send a check in the mail. I haven’t received one at this time although it was supposedly mailed out five days ago. What prompted me to write this review was being contacted by mom. After she suggested refund, I took her off the e-mail chain as she didn’t need to be involved in the process! I updated her to let her know that I hadn’t gotten the refund and was having difficulty getting money back. Mom decided to take the test and mail it in! But didn’t hear from the company at all. Didn’t receive a receipt of sample message. Didn’t receive a flag that there was an issue. No communication from Peekaboo although she had sent in a blood sample! Understandably, there was an issue as the order has supposedly been refunded (I have, as of writing this a month later, not received a refund). After mom followed up and had some back and forth with Peekaboo, they told her that her sample had been discarded upon receipt with no notification to her and that she should reach out to me, the purchaser and therefore decision maker on the test regardless of who registered it and whose blood sample it was. All in all, I would suggest using a competitor product based on the customer service aspect alone. There was an issue with the sample in this case and there was no communication from the company. They didn’t follow up with me, the “decision maker.” Realistically, I would’ve at that point expected them to question why they had received a sample on a canceled ordered and at least charged the additional fee to process. They guarantee a refund if the results aren’t accurate, but based on my experience in attempting to be refunded for a potentially damaged product (which I did provided photos for), it’s probably more effort than it’s worth given there are other highly rated and more heavily used products on the market. Does not work and too expensive
I didn’t know I had to pay an extra lab fee when I got it. They wouldn’t give me my money back and were no help. You need a full tube of blood just from pricking your finger a few times when you can barely get enough for a bandaid. I didn’t even get to send in the sample because there wasn’t even enough. So upset I wasted my money.3 users found this review helpful. - Verified purchaseReviewed 1 year ago

It was right
I read every review, stayed a little hesitant. Our results were right. Upon my own research and talking to the doctor it is right about 65% of the time.7 users found this review helpful. - CrVerified purchaseReviewed 2 years ago
