Is therapy right for me?
These days, it seems like everyone carries around stress in their daily life. Worries. Feelings of uncertainty that can feel overwhelming and bigger than we are.
Maybe it stems from our work. A life transition. Or perhaps there are family issues that can seem difficult. Quite often, the causes of stress, anxiety or depression can be something we can't quite put our finger on.
At participating MinuteClinic locations, our licensed therapists are trained to help support you as you work through your challenges. From mental health assessments to confidential counseling sessions, we are here to help support you in difficult times.
How to get started and what to expect at your participating CVS HealthHUB.
First, check that your neighborhood CVS HealthHUB offers mental health counseling, then call to make an in-store appointment at 1-855-417-2486. Or arrange a telehealth visit.
Plan to arrive early, just in case — to help you get the most out of your session. MinuteClinic licensed therapists will conduct a detailed assessment of your personal well-being needs, leveraging evidence-based assessments.
An introductory conversation
During your initial assessment, your licensed therapist will help assess your current situation and explore potential options for reducing your distress.
Personalized care planning
Together, you and your licensed therapist will create an individualized care plan to help improve your mental health and total well-being.
Counseling services for continual support
Your licensed therapist will provide ongoing sessions with you to help you address your areas of concern.
Navigation & collaboration
If you have a need for higher levels of care, our licensed therapists will work with you to find an appropriate specialist from our extensive provider network and collaborate with your existing providers when appropriate.
Convenient & affordable
CVS HealthHUB services may be less expensive and can be more convenient than traditional mental and emotional health counseling services. We can bill your insurance directly, or you can pay with cash or credit card or use your employee assistance program (EAP) benefits if appropriate.
Would you like to consider a telehealth visit?
If you already know that you would like a telehealth visit, you can also go directly to our MinuteClinic E-Clinic website (https://mychart.cvshealth.com/ MyChartPRD/Authentication/Login?) Creating an online MyChart account is easy and quick. Once you are in, you can request an online mental health counseling visit, and a provider will be in touch with you very soon.
