First aid for minor injuries
Many common household and play-related injuries are painful but not life-threatening. If you hike along the Koko Crater Railway Trail finishes with amazing photos of the Botanical Garden and a twisted ankle don’t pay for an expensive Emergency Room visit. Sign in to the app and search for a walk-in clinic near me instead. Our medical practitioners can assess the situation, wrap and clean wounds, provide a treatment plan to reduce the pain. We treat everyday injuries including:
- Shallow cuts and scrapes
- Minor burns and blisters
- Joint pain
- Sprains
- Strains
- Tick and bug bites
If you have sutures and staples from surgery that are ready for removal, but cannot get in to see the doctor, we can help. Our experienced nurse practitioners have the tools and skill to remove them properly and make sure the area is healing correctly. With your permission, a visit summary can be sent to your doctor to ensure your health records are kept current.
Relief for frequent ailments
Allergies and colds can affect you and your family no matter what the season or weather. Don’t wait days for the coughing and sneezing to wear you down before taking action. Visit our clinic inside CVS Pharmacy® before the symptoms get worse and talk with our on-staff medical professionals about your condition. They can perform tests as needed to determine if your cough is a result of the common cold, or something more significant. We treat many common ailments such as:
- Upper respiratory infections
- Allergies
- Flu
- Ear infections and earaches
- Heartburn & indigestion
- Strep throat
- Mono
- UTIs
- Pink eye
- Nausea and vomiting
- Sinus infections
Stay healthy when you travel
Are you planning to trade the view of Diamond Head for exotic locales in Southeast Asia, South America or the Middle East? If so, stop by our MinuteClinic® four to six weeks before you leave for a pre-travel consultation. The CDC recommends taking certain precautions in these areas to reduce the chances of contracting malaria, typhoid, zika and other potentially deadly viruses.
Our medical professionals can administer vaccines and provide tips of places and foods to avoid. They can also offer recommendations for over the counter products that can help you deal with traveler’s diarrhea, nausea and motion sickness. Long plane rides and lack of sleep may make you more susceptible to illness while you’re away. We can talk with you about ways to bolster your immune system before you leave and when you’re traveling to keep you healthy.
Our MinuteClinic® is open seven days a week with evening and weekend hours to help you get the medical care you need when you need it. Appointments are not required but can be scheduled if you prefer. Call us at 1-866-389-2727 to learn more.
