The Provider was an outstanding nurse

The nurse for my visit was very friendly and informative. Really the highlight of my appointment

I had many time options to choose from. Reminded of the appt. The medical person was very knowledgeable and kind. Was able to get my prescription right away and they answered my questions on taking the Prescription.

The medication prescribed was not enough to complete the prescribed treatment length. I requested a refill and was denied. I was told 4 drops in left ear 4 times a day for 5-7 days. The 10 ml only lasted 3 days.

The quality of care

I was able to get an appointment quickly and was seen on time. The nurse is pleasant and kind and listens to your concerns and questions. Even providing helpful information to ward off infection in the future. The pharmacy in the same building makes visiting the CVS clinic even more convenient. My prescription was ready in less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. This place isn't even in my insurance network but I'd rather pay a little more to come here then drive further, wait longer and have to make an additional trip to the pharmacy.

I was seen on time. The provider was knowledgeable. she listened to my concerns and genuinely cared. Also so convenient I was able to make an appointment online and be seen the same day. I then was able to get my prescription at that location in a matter of minutes. And covered by my insurance. overall very convenient and efficient.

The nurse practitioner was extremely helpful, very patient, did a great job explaining things to me, left me with the impression that she knew what she was doing, and was just generally a nice person.

I originally made an appointment at 6 AM as a wait list. It stated the wait would be about two hours. I received a text message to head to the Grayslake, IL location, and after an hour waiting in the waiting room the NP came out and told me she was unable to get me in. Her exact words were “ ma’am you’re on a waitlist and I’m unable to see you today”. After over an hour of sitting there. She originally saw me sitting there within 10 minutes of entering the waiting room, and never said anything. I understand not being able to accommodate waitlist customers, but to make me wait an hour while I am sick and just rudely tell me she’s unable to get me in is disrespectful and disappointing. There were other locations that had appointments in my area, but this one was five minutes down the road for me and it stated it took waitlists so that is why I chose that. If I had known, I would have drove the extra 10 minutes to go somewhere else that was an actual appointment. The Grayslake location has a 2.5 star rating and I should’ve listened. I went to the Lake Bluff, IL location, and they were quick and the NP was the absolute opposite of the Grayslake location. She was incredible. Her bedside manner was amazing. I was desperate at the time to get in, but in the future, I will not be using MinuteClinic. To leave someone sitting in the waiting room that long after I checked in is so unacceptable
