Of course, we hope you don’t, but if you do, check out the MinuteClinic® at 1440 Broadway on the corner of 40th Street. You can walk in and, much of the time, get seen much sooner than you would if you tried to make a traditional appointment with your doctor.

Get seen in a short amount of time

The long wait times are what many people hate most about going to the doctor. You made an appointment and showed up early as directed only to end up waiting way too long. It’s frustrating and throws off the rest of your day.

MinuteClinic® follows a different model in which you have the opportunity to walk in. You’ll likely get seen within the hour and, often, much sooner. Our clinic website has the approximate wait time listed, and many times, there is a “Visit today” link if you want to hold your place in line.

With this model, you can come see us (or make plans to) as soon as a sprain or minor burn occurs or the dreaded signs of allergies, pink eye or cold sores start showing up. We perform in-clinic lab tests for ailments such as mono, strep and flu.

Bypassing many hassles associated with medical care

Other doctor-related hassles that many patients deal with include exorbitant bills for simple procedures, insurance plan headaches and a lack of communication. To address these concerns, MinuteClinic® offers the following:

  • Price lists online for procedures and treatments (they’re well-priced too!)
  • Most insurance plans accepted
  • Preliminary insurance check online to see if your plan might be accepted
  • Various payment options such as cash, check, credit card and the online payment portal
  • Uninsured patients welcome
  • Visit summary sent to your primary doctor if you give permission
