Keeping the flu at bay
While there’s no guarantee you won’t contract the flu after receiving a flu shot, it’s a much lesser chance when you protect yourself with an immunization. The flu sends over 200,000 people, including infants and seniors, to the hospital each year. Some simple preventative measures include washing your hands, keeping your hands off your face, disinfecting surfaces and covering your cough. Perhaps the most important preventative measure is receiving your flu shot.
If you are unable to make it to our clinic for your flu shot, contact us to find out when our next Flu Clinic will be. This is a service temporarily set up in businesses and community centers around Philadelphia. We offer the flu shot to individuals with no service fees attached. Patients simply pay for their shot and the administration of it.
Protecting your family with other immunizations
There are a wide variety of other vaccinations individuals need to protect themselves against certain diseases. If you’ve found yourself wondering, “Is there a walk in clinic near me that administers vaccinations?” you’ll be pleased to know we do. Conveniently located just north of Roxborough High School up Ridge Avenue, we administer the following vaccinations for our patients:
- Hepatitis A and B
- Shingles
- Meningitis
- HPV
- MMR
- IPV
- Td and Tdap

- Pneumonia
Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants are also qualified to administer vitamin B12 injections and birth control injections for our adult patients.
