Get your flu shot early
Why risk the miseries of the flu when you can prevent them with a shot? Patients 18 months and older can get a flu injection on a walk-in basis at our clinic. Nobody likes getting a shot, but you shouldn’t put it off. Flu season may begin as soon as October and last until May—that’s a long time to try and successfully avoid something that can make you ache all over and send you to bed for up to two weeks. If you have children, seniors or other family members with weakened immune systems, it’s critical that you keep them safe from the flu, which has deadly potential. The Centers for Disease Control recommends flu shots for nearly every patient six months and older.
Full range of immunizations available
Children starting school generally need certain vaccines beforehand. Bring them to our clinic for required immunizations such as MMR, polio, Tdap, HPV, meningitis and more. Teens may also need updates, which they can get when they come in for a sports physical. Senior family members may need a pneumonia shot, which is also available, along with vaccines for shingles and hepatitis A and B. Our knowledgeable staff can discuss any concerns you may have about these immunizations as well.
