I got in quickly, the check in was seamless, the provider was kind and helpful, and provided me excellent recommendations as well as the care I needed. I couldn't ask for anything more!

I normally have excellent experiences at Minute Clinic but I went to a different location, and it was a frustrating experience of being dismissed. I explained that I had acheyness all over and a cough and my lungs were heavy. I explained that I frequently get sinus infections that go into my chest, and this feels like this so I was already on day four of albuteral, nasal spray, and cough suppresant - the treatment normally that is prescribed, but it's not doing anything. She listened to my lungs and had me breathe deeply. I coughed every time. She did not look in my ears at all. She said your lungs are clear. Come back if your chest feels heavy or you start coughing. I looked at her confused. "what do you mean exactly? I just coughed every time I took a deep breath, and I told you my chest is heavy." She said something along the lines of "Oh well just wait 3-4 more days" and prescribed more albuteral and a different cough suppresant. I asked why she thought that would work if it wasn't working already. She said it can sometimes take a week. I noted that I normally in the past had to have a Z-pack to tackle this kind of infection and it's only getting worse. I asked her whether I should continue to take allergy medicine. Did she think it was a sinus infection? Her response was "We don't treat the cause. We just treat the symptoms." I was shocked because if we don't know what the cause is, how do we know we're treating it in the right way. I walked out of the clinic not listened to, with a prescription for essentially the same treatment I had been doing for four days and only getting worse, and have no idea whether I should take allergy medicines still or not because my ears are clogged, but she never bothered to look in my ears or feel my sinuses. I was the last patient of the day and felt not listened to at all and worse, I'm only getting worse and having to find treatment someplace else. I have had many medical issues in my life and am well-versed in my body and what appropriate medical examinations require and this did not meet the minimum standard. I understand that maybe the same treatment might have made sense if it could have been explained to me why that would be the case but there was no diagnosis or reasoning.

I thought that The Provider was most competent and so very pleasant. We were almost best friends by the time the appointment was over! She never rushed me through the meeting.

I arrived on time and saw the assistant arrive, but she got on a call that lasted well through my appointment. I had to interrupt because I was running late for another appointment. If the clinic cannot serve the slots it posts, it should not post them.

Appointment was at 4PM. I was seen at 4:40 PM despite the doctor skipping her break. Stop short-staffing.

I had a positive experience with the minute clinic itself. But I've always been uncomfortable with stores like CVC, that use loss prevention/security as they tend to be trained to racially profile guests all whilst sharing the complexion of those who they racially profile. I would love to see the minute clinic in an independent office.
