MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 4475 San Juan Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32210
Jacksonville is one of the most heavily populated areas in the entire United States. Over 800,000 people live in the city, and all those people need a reliable place to receive essential medical services. Fortunately, there is a CVS Pharmacy® located in the Fairfax area on the corner of Roosevelt Boulevard and San Juan Avenue that people can turn to for a lot more than simply picking up prescriptions. This particular location is just north of Roosevelt Square, and houses a MinuteClinic®. Whether you live in Jacksonville permanently or are just visiting for spring break, there are a variety of circumstances that necessitate a visit to our walk-in clinic.
We offer numerous services for when the unexpected occurs
You never know when a minor injury will occur. Instead of waiting for hours at the doctor’s office to get treated for a small burn or blister, you can pay a visit to our clinic. No appointment is required, and we can help with everything from bug bites to joint pain. Additionally, when you come down with a cough or your forehead feels a little warm, you do not want to wait to see if it gets better on its own. Our practitioners have received training to help with various illnesses, including:
- Upper respiratory infections
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Oral infections
- Styes and pink eye
In the event your skin takes a turn for the worse, you can come in to MinuteClinic® for evaluation and treatment. We can help with minor cases of acne in addition to scabies, ringworm, warts and athlete’s foot. Our clinic also has treatments on-hand to help people suffering from hair loss.
We provide several different vaccinations
It is paramount for all healthy individuals to stay up-to-date on their immunizations. Some people are unable to get vaccinated due to certain health conditions, so you help protect the most vulnerable in the population by getting shots for HPV, shingles, whooping cough and much more. Our MinuteClinic® provides these vaccinations, as well as flu shots every year when flu season comes around.
We are available 24/7 with video services
When our pharmacy is closed, you can still talk to one of our practitioners by using our Virtual Care services. You can chat with a healthcare provider for everything from sinus infections to women’s services and receive a thorough treatment plan. Your plan can include a prescription, which will be sent to a nearby CVS Pharmacy®.
We work with numerous insurance carriers
There is a good chance you can pay little to nothing because MinuteClinic® accepts most health insurance plans. You can doublecheck to see if we are in your network by contacting your insurance agency beforehand to see what your co-pay will be. For the uninsured, we accept cash, check and credit cards as payment. You can also check out our price list so there are not any surprise bills.
