Why patients enjoy coming here
CVS Pharmacy® designed these clinics to be customer-centric. You’re able to walk in seven days a week and be seen by a medical professional in a relatively short time. Sometimes you get seen right away—no appointment needed! Before coming in, you can get a good idea online via the insurance check whether we accept your carrier and plan. That said, we do advise you to verify with your provider if your visit will be covered.
If you’re uninsured or prefer to cover the bill yourself, we offer various payment options. For instance, you can pay via cash, check or credit card. We have a price list online for our services, so you know what you can expect to pay.
Moreover, the professionals at our clinics understand the importance of communication and teamwork. As long as you approve it, we can send a summary of your visit to your primary doctor. That way, no critical information falls through the cracks, and everyone has the opportunity to know about any changes in your health or the medication you’re taking.
So, whether it’s preventative care you seek before an overseas trip or immediate care after a bug sting, we should be able to help on your schedule.
Other services that the clinics and CVS Pharmacy® provide
Our company offers services such as flu clinics at sites such as at community centers and workplaces. If that interests you, give us a call to see where you might be able to get a shot.
We also have what’s called Virtual Care, a way to get health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For instance, when you call your regular doctor and are told that the next available appointment is weeks out, you may want to try Virtual Care. Through video chat or an online visit, you can consult with medical professionals on many of the same issues MinuteClinic® helps with and get needed prescriptions.
