Would have taken forever to get to see My family Doctor and I needed the help now. Called the clinic and got right in! Problem solved!

She was very nice and professional. She listened patiently and addressed all of my concerns in a caring way. She broke everything down so I could understand it. She also made me feel very comfortable and I truly appreciated that.

This Clinic also has a Nurse who does the ''administrative'' tasks. She called out my name when she was ready - did not come into the waiting area to get me. I did not know which of the two offices this person was in. Once in her office, she didnt introduce herself nor did she make eye contact for the first 5 - 7 min. I was present. This seemed unprofessional to me. The check-in process for someone who has an appointment seemed laborious. The NP successfully addressed my medical need.

Such friendly staff who are very attentive to their patients, making sure their visit is as efficient and proficient as possible.

The lady that gave me the vaccine was wearing gloves when I came into the clinic. She had a couple more people in with her that she was training. I did not see her wash her hands or sanitize. Because she was wearing gloves the whole time. She was quick and efficient. Good Experience : )

About the Flu (Influenza)

Influenza is an infectious respiratory disease. Generally, the flu may resolve on its own. However, if the flu goes untreated, you may be at risk for complications that can be life-threatening. Those that might be at a higher risk of severe flu complications include children under 5, adults over 65, pregnant women, and people with chronic illnesses or compromised immune systems. If you fall into any of these categories, it is essential that you take strides towards flu prevention by getting your flu shot at MinuteClinic. The flu shot works by exposing you to an inactive flu virus and the flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body after vaccination. These antibodies will help to protect you if you are exposed to the flu virus. Essentially, getting a flu shot prepares your body to fight the flu.

Why Get A Flu Shot?

Getting vaccinated helps to protect you and the people around you. Influenza sends a countless number of patients into hospitals each year – don’t be one of them. There are two types of flu shots – a seasonal vaccine for adults and children (preservative-free available, upon request) and a high dose vaccine (for ages 65+). While you can take preventative measures, getting immunized with the influenza vaccine is your best defense against the flu. Each year, new strains of the flu develop. While you may have gotten a flu shot in the past, you may not be protected from the new strands. Although flu vaccines may not be 100% effective, it is still the best defense against the virus. Don’t fall victim to the flu this year – stop by MinuteClinic and get your flu shot today!
