I was not given a proper treatment for acute bronchitis . I was offered tessalon and albuterol. I politely requested an antibiotic which has always been the course of action. 24 hours later I went to Riverview Urgent Care. The doctor said the bronchitis was so acute that walking pneumonia was next without aggressive treatment. I was put on prednisone, doxycycline and a cough syrup compounded with an antihistamine. I will no longer use your service.
The NP who helped me was INCREDIBLY calm, patient, and kind, and she explained everything to me before she did it. However, the system double-booked my appointment time (and other times before me), meaning I got in late. Other people in the lobby got in almost 40 minutes after their slot. While I'm not upset, I know other people were, and I know it's not fair to the Minute Clinic workers.
quick and efficient, In and out. NP was pleasant.
I will absolutely NEVER return to the minute clinic at CVS. I called before going and spoke with someone at the call center who said treatment for high blood pressure was definitely something I could go to the minute clinic for. I do not have a physician and needed to get treatment to get my blood pressure under control until I could make an appt with a physician for more stable treatment. Upon arriving the nurse on duty knew why I was coming in and rather than tell me she would not be able to help me she took my blood pressure, checked my ears, listened to my heart and lungs and told me maybe I'm just sick. She sent me on my way after paying over $100 for the visit. The following day I ended up in the ER with extremely high BP numbers and was immediately given a script. I will never go back to a CVS and will tell as many ppl to do the same. It is a huge scam. The nurse knew what I was coming in for and could have told me that there was not any treatment that she could offer before charging me $126 for nothing. Now I'm obligated to pay that and the ER visit that I had to go to the following day. I called CVS customer service immediately after with my concern and nothing was done. This is a terrible disservice to people. I couldn't imagine if this was my last amount of money and I just basically threw it away to a huge company who doesn't care about the health of anyone.
I came in with a sore throat and laryngitis. I told her I had woke up with a sore throat a couple of days prior and that my mucous was now yellow. She explained to me, like I was stupid, that it meant my body was fighting. She took my blood pressure did not say what it was. Took my temperature did not say what it was. I had checked for a strep test. After barely looking at my throat she said it wasn't red. She asked if I actually wanted a strep test. I really didn't, just wanted to feel better. She told me I just had a cold and to use antihistamines to dry it up. I am currently on day 5 of being miserable and day 4 without a voice. I believe she didn't care about helping me feel better or fixing the problem. I had been there with my daughter a couple of hours earlier for her pink eye. She had told my daughter her vitals. She even had her answer the depression and anxiety questions, she did not ask me. This visit was a waste of time.
I love the convenience of making the appointment and the friendliness of the staff
The Provider always answers my questions and I don't feel rushed.
It was fast and easy.
The doctor was extremely helpful and informative.

Went to Minute Clinic for a cholesterol blood test (simple pinprick and the numbers). Instead I was subjected to cognitive function testing and other significant wastes of time & money - the visit cost three times what the cholesterol test cost, and too far longer. Website said no appointments, just walk in, but upon arrival I registered and was told the earliest appointment was 90 minutes later but the NP had zero patients and bypassed that wait, but why do you lie on the website? I will never return if I can avoid doing so.
