Health screenings and monitoring
Everybody has cholesterol; it is a type of fat in the blood that the body uses to help build healthy cells. However, having too much of it adds to your risk of developing or suffering from serious health complications that can include stroke and heart disease. At MinuteClinic®, we can screen your blood for high cholesterol and begin a treatment plan if needed, one that may include medication. We'll also help you monitor your condition between regular visits to your doctor. Our trained clinicians can also screen for and monitor additional health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
Flu shots and immunizations
Annual flu shots can protect you and your family from the miseries of flu. They are recommended by the CDC, particularly for high-risk populations, which include children younger than 5, seniors over age 65 and anyone with a weakened immune system. Our clinic can administer flu shots to all family members over 18 months.
We can also help you prevent serious diseases such as measles, mumps, polio and more with immunizations that are required for school-age children. Updates are available for older children and adults, including HPV and meningitis, while seniors may wish to have added protection from pneumonia and shingles. Visit our clinic for these essential vaccinations.
