Health care for everyday illnesses
Do you have that telltale tickle in the back of your throat? Did your child get sent home from school with a fever? Are you paying for last night’s dinner with heartburn and indigestion today? When these issues happen, stop by the walk-in clinic near me. We treat many routine illnesses that benefit from medical care, but are not life-threatening:
- Upper respiratory infections
- Nausea and vomiting
- Strep and sore throats
We know that you don’t often get sick during regular office hours, so we are open seven days a week with evening hours Monday through Friday. Use the app to save your place in line or come directly to our location and sign in at the kiosk to discuss your symptoms with our medical practitioners. They will provide a treatment plan that may include recommendations for over-the-counter products or a prescription.
Get ready for flu season
If you and your family don’t have time to get sick, a seasonal flu shot can help. The influenza virus changes each year, so the vaccination you got last year may not be effective this cold and flu season. Our immunization-trained health care providers can administer a vaccine to patients 18 months and older. If your child is 9 years old and younger, we have the multi-dose vaccine. The high-dose option is available for those with weakened immune systems and adults 65 and older.
It takes approximately two weeks for you to be fully protected. If co-workers, friends and classmates are getting sick, it’s not too late to be immunized. Even if you contract the virus within two weeks, the severity of your symptoms may be reduced, and the recovery period shorter than usual.
Walk-in convenience for minor injuries
When your child takes a tumble on the playground, or you twist your ankle hiking, visit our clinic inside CVS Pharmacy®. Our experienced health care professionals will evaluate the situation and provide the first-aid needed for the injury to heal correctly. Physician assistants and nurse practitioners treat the most common everyday injuries, including:
- Strains and sprains
- Insect and tick bites
- Joint and back pain
- Mild burns and blisters
- Minor wounds
Depending on the injury, a tetanus shot may be recommended during the evaluation.
We accept most insurance, cash and credit cards. Pricing for all of our services is posted, so you can prepare in advance for out of pocket expenses. Visit our clinic or call (704) 708-5701 to learn more about our clinic services and location.
