The one RN remembered our family from many years ago when they were much younger. She was not at the visit for this time around, but is usually there. Both RNs have been very helpful and I would return.

Can’t beat the convenience for minor things like vaccinations, and it’s great to have PAs available for the care.

The practitioner was great, but there should be someone attending the desk to answer questions. It is very confusing not having someone to answer questions.

I felt really bad. She was efficient and compassionate and patient, and explained everything. She gave me the tests and after an examination, determined I had a sinus infection. She ordered an antibiotic and after only 3 doses I’m feeling better already. She also told me what to do if I started feeling worse. She was awesome! Thank you!

She was AMAZING! She is so sweet, patient, diligent in her work, friendly, professional, etc. We had an entire family of 4 split over two appointments and she was excellent in all areas. I wish you could hear the passion in my words when I tell you that she is a GEM of an employee!

About the Flu (Influenza)

Influenza is an infectious respiratory disease. Generally, the flu may resolve on its own. However, if the flu goes untreated, you may be at risk for complications that can be life-threatening. Those that might be at a higher risk of severe flu complications include children under 5, adults over 65, pregnant women, and people with chronic illnesses or compromised immune systems. If you fall into any of these categories, it is essential that you take strides towards flu prevention by getting your flu shot at MinuteClinic. The flu shot works by exposing you to an inactive flu virus and the flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body after vaccination. These antibodies will help to protect you if you are exposed to the flu virus. Essentially, getting a flu shot prepares your body to fight the flu.

Why Get A Flu Shot?

Getting vaccinated helps to protect you and the people around you. Influenza sends a countless number of patients into hospitals each year – don’t be one of them. There are two types of flu shots – a seasonal vaccine for adults and children (preservative-free available, upon request) and a high dose vaccine (for ages 65+). While you can take preventative measures, getting immunized with the influenza vaccine is your best defense against the flu. Each year, new strains of the flu develop. While you may have gotten a flu shot in the past, you may not be protected from the new strands. Although flu vaccines may not be 100% effective, it is still the best defense against the virus. Don’t fall victim to the flu this year – stop by MinuteClinic and get your flu shot today!
