MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 3710 Highway 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina 29576

As part of the Grand Strand, Murrells Inlet attracts visitors from around the globe. Beautiful beaches, fabulous food and an assortment of activities make it an ideal place to work and play. Our MinuteClinic® at 3710 Highway 17 Bypass is a convenient stop when you’ve spent the day on the beach or water, and now you don’t feel well, you hurt your back on the 18th hole at the Wachesaw East Golf Club, or you want to get a flu shot on your way home from work. We are open seven days a week with evening hours during the week to help you get the health care you need, on your schedule.

Ease the discomfort of skin conditions

Our clinic is located between Wild Water and Wheels and Huntington Beach State Park. Spending time outdoors, whether near the water and wilderness can result in unpleasant skin conditions. Does your little one have red welts or tiny blisters after playing in the park? Did you get stung while camping and now the area is swelling? Visit our clinic inside CVS Pharmacy® and let our health care professionals assess the area. We treat many skin conditions that are common in active patients:

  • Athlete’s foot
  • Poison ivy & poison oak
  • Swimmer’s Itch
  • Sunburn
  • Dermatitis
  • Impetigo

The rash that accompanies chickenpox and shingles is painful as well as itchy. We can recommend products to ease the pain and itching.

Treatment for everyday ailments

Did you know that sinus infections often arrive as you are recovering from bronchitis, upper respiratory infections and similar illnesses? If you thought you recovered from one ailment, but are experiencing more issues, come into our clinic for an evaluation. The original infection may be holding on, or you may have a different condition. This is especially true if you have seasonal allergies. A weakened immune system could mean the symptoms are more severe than usual. We treat many of today’s most common health issues:

  • Bronchitis/cold
  • Sinus infections
  • Mono
  • Earaches and infections
  • Pink eye
  • Sore and strep throat
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Flu

The treatment plan provided may include non-prescription medications or a script which can be filled at our on-site pharmacy counter. A visit summary can be sent to your regular doctor, with your permission. This can ensure your medical records stay current.

Vaccinations protect against serious illnesses

Vaccinations can prevent you and your child from contracting serious illnesses that can have long-term effects. They support the immune system and help you stay healthy. Our immunization-trained medical practitioners can immunize patients 18 months and older, for many vaccine-preventable diseases:

  • Mumps
  • Flu
  • Measles
  • Meningitis
  • Hepatitis A & B
  • Whopping cough (pertussis)
  • Tetanus
  • Polio
  • Rubella
  • Diphtheria

If you were immunized as a child more than 20 years ago, effectiveness might have faded, leaving you susceptible to contracting these diseases as an adult. Visit the walk-in clinic near me and ask about immunity testing. We can identify whether you are still immune. If not, we can provide the updated shots.

We accept credit cards, cash and most insurance. Our clinic is open seven days a week, with evening hours Monday through Friday to make it easier to get the medical care you need. Call us at (843) 651-8975 for more information about our location, preventive, wellness and first-aid services.
