What do I need to bring to CVS in order to have my Passport photo taken?
You do not need to bring anything with you when you arrive at a CVS Pharmacy to have your photo taken.
What is the correct size and dimensions of a Passport photo?
The correct photo measurement is 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) in size. The subject’s head should be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches (between 25 and 35 mm) from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head.
Can I wear eyeglasses in my Passport photo?
Eyeglasses are no longer allowed in passport photos. The policy changed to enhance the security of the application process and to allow faster identity verification.
Can I order my Passport photo online?
Unfortunately, you are not able to order your Passport photo online on CVS.com. Passport photos must be taken in-store at one of our CVS Pharmacy locations.
How do I apply for a passport for my child?
Parents or guardians must mutually approve the issuance of the child's passport and present a valid birth certificate. All passport applicants under 16 must apply in person using Form DS-11. Learn more from the U.S. Department of State’s website.

What is the REAL ID Act?
Passed by Congress in 2005, the REAL ID Act enacted the 9/11 Commission's recommendation that the Federal Government “set standards for the issuance of sources of identification, such as driver's licenses.” The Act established minimum-security standards for state-issued driver's licenses and identification cards, which prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for official purposes licenses and identification cards from states that do not meet these standards.
Is a Passport REAL ID compliant?
Yes, a passport book is REAL ID compliant and can be used for domestic air travel.
When does the REAL ID Act Take Effect?
Starting October 1, 2021 travelers will be required to provide either a real ID or another TSA-approved form of identification in order to fly.
Is a passport the only other option if my state is not compliant?

Yes, your Visa & Passport photos can be identical. When submitting your Visa photos, the photographs must be attached to the Visa application forms and submitted to the country issuing the Visa.
