The lady was kind of rude and when I started bleeding from the shot she handed me an alcohol swab to clean it up myself. Then I literally had blood dripping down my arm and had to ask for a bandaid and she had me put it on myself with one hand because the other was dripping blood. Then she kept messing up the appointment time and was just overall not friendly.

My visit yesterday was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had at a minute clinic. Right from the start the physician seeing me spent a lot of time trying to clean up my chart. Instead of attending to my chief complaint. I came in with flu-like symptoms, and a flu test was run after the fact, but I don't think the specimen collected was sufficient. I was not tested for covid. After diagnosing me with a double ear infection and prescribing antibiotics, she urged me to get a vaccine which in the past I have had issues with. My understanding was I shouldn't get a vaccination if I was already actively sick. The whole interaction has left me wondering if I need to seek a second opinion

I went to get my stitches removed by The Provider on 4/12 and she claimed to remove all 9 of my stitches, I felt discomfort when the stitches were being removed so my eyes were shut, after she said “all done” she immediately wiped iodine over , so i couldn’t see if there was any blue, and then placed a non stick pad taped on and taped it. covering it from my view, and charging me $161 for “ all 9 stitches removed”. I leave iodine on until around 8pm because I heard iodine is better than saline solution, when i remove the nonstick pad and wipe away the iodine, I see 3 pieces of stitches left in my thigh. I do not know proper terminology but I had vertical mattress style sutures and so there’s the top knot above the scar, the scar, and then where the thread goes through the thigh again, under the scar. Under the scar in your perspective, there was three left, in the first, the fifth, and the eighth. I contacted Minute Clinic on 4/13 and they said I would need to pay for another appointment to take the remaining stitches out because it was another physician for the next two days. My stitches were told by the hospital to be removed by 4/14. I call Wednesday 4/15 when The Provider’s returned to the clinic and she claimed that she did remove all my stitches and wasn’t sure what was in my leg, but that I could come in and if she finds stitches left, she can remove them free of charge. I caught sore throat the previous night and didn’t want to spread, so I asked If I could come in Thursday 4/16, and she agreed. When I enter Thursday and she took a look at my thigh, she made no comment and walked towards her equipment. She said she doesn’t know what happened, possibly something under the skin pushed its way out, that’s what happens with foreign objects in the skin. I felt like she was trying to gaslight me this whole experience. When she removed the “objects” in my skin, it revealed to be blue stitches… what a big surprise. She didn’t acknowledge that they were stitched, but they were indeed. She wiped with iodine and then pushed pretty harshly over my new scar and freshly removed stitches asking if I felt anything else in my leg. I told her no but that hurts. I’m glad she removed the rest of the stitches for free, but they should’ve been removed 4 days prior, with the rest of them. She did not listen to my concerns and instead tripled down on the fact that there wasn’t 3 stitches left in my leg.

To: MinuteClinic Patient Relations / Billing Department Date: April 12, 2026 Subject: Dispute of Unauthorized Charges – Visit Date: April 11, 2026 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute a charge of $177 incurred during a visit to the MinuteClinic on April 11, 2026. This visit was handled by Nurse Practitioner The Provider. The sole purpose of this appointment was to complete a CVS Preventative Care Screening for colleagues and spouses to satisfy wellness requirements. When booking online, I explicitly stated this as the reason for the visit. However, the provider performed a full diagnostic medical exam without my authorization or informed consent. I am requesting that these charges be waived based on the following: • Lack of Informed Consent: I was not informed that the screening would be coded as a full diagnostic visit. I specifically asked the provider if she was familiar with the colleague screening process; she confirmed she was, yet she proceeded to perform unauthorized blood work and assessments. • Improper Testing Protocol: The provider conducted screenings for diabetes and triglycerides without verifying if I had fasted. Because I had not fasted, the results were inaccurate and medically unnecessary, as I already manage these conditions with my primary physician. • Inaccurate Service Coding: My insurance provider has confirmed that a standard preventative screening is a brief, no-cost service. The provider’s decision to turn a 10-minute screening into an hour-long diagnostic session was done without my request or permission. • Facility Standards: I also wish to note that the clinic’s cleanliness was below acceptable standards, which added to an overall unprofessional experience. I have been a supporter of CVS through my husband’s employment, but this experience was highly distressing. I am requesting that the $177 charge be removed and my visit be correctly coded as a preventative colleague screening so that my husband and I are not unfairly penalized with the $35.71 per pay period surcharge. I look forward to a prompt resolution. Kim Sweat (863) 393-8654

I am extremely disappointed with our recent visit to MinuteClinic. We brought my daughter in due to a fever, nausea, and vomiting, and she had already missed school because of her symptoms. Not only were we concerned about her health, but we also needed proper documentation for her absence. The nurse practitioner did not provide an appropriate level of care. She remained seated the entire time and did not make an effort to physically assess my daughter unless prompted. I was even asked if I wanted my daughter to be checked, which is something that should be standard practice during a sick visit. This experience felt dismissive and unprofessional, and it did not meet the basic expectations of medical care. As a parent, it is incredibly frustrating to seek help for your child and feel like their concerns are not taken seriously. Due to this experience, we will not be returning to this location. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other patients do not have a similar experience.
