The provider at the clinic was very interested in what my concerns about how I felt. Afterwards she asked if I had any questions which I really appreciated that concern .
It was easy to make an appt and be seen quickly. Nurse and NP were both wonderful. Unfortunately, EPIC did not allow the NP to prescribe the correct dose of antibiotics for acute otitis media in an 8 year old. (Amoxicillin 90 mg/kg/day divided twice daily with a max dose of 2000 mg per dose.) It forced her to max out at 1000 mg per dose - a significant underdose in my 67 lb child. If you are going to see children, please be sure you have the correct tools to do so (ie pediatric blood pressure cuffs) and utilize correct dosing for that population.
