Met with The Provider at CVS at 116th and allisonville in fishers. I described my symptoms completely (enlarged lymph nodes, headache, drainage, full ears, continual cough and sore throat) when scheduling. The Provider looked in my ears and my mouth. She also reviewed my meds. She quickly diagnosed me with seasonal allergies (which at age 67 I have never had). She insisted that an otc with qualfenesin was needed (coricidin hbp max strength). I take a prescription for reflux - and it appears this otc makes reflux worse (which it did). This was not considered. Went to my dr today (who I have been with for less than 6 months) - who listened to me intently and my list of symptoms. Not sure if the antibiotics prescribed or if throwing away the otc meds is helping the most. I’m not as upset about the misdiagnosis as I see how that can happen, but I am upset about her recommending an otc that offered no relief and caused more problems.

Very fast service, very friendly and knowledgeable
My visit was to get covid 19, hepatitus A, hepatitus B, and tetanus vaccines. The nurses at the MinuteClinic locations are wonderful. They are friendly, pleasant, and always answer my questions and accommodate my requests. I enjoy seeing them at my visits. I made visits to two locations. Nurses Provider and [...]o are wonderful. The shot The Provider gave me was the best I had ever received. I literally didn't feel it.
