I was able to get a same-day appointment for both of my appointments last week. Both the nurse and the PA were very attentive and caring. I felt that they listened to me even given my sick-griping self. My first visit was for a bad cold - no meds prescribed since the strep test was negative. My 2nd visit was because the cold had become a sinus infection, and I was prescribed antibiotics at that time. I've been to this same Minute clinic now 4 or 5 times over the past year, and I've appreciated the people there for their caring attitudes and competence.

I feel as though my health concerns were not listened to and brushed off. I came in because I had a very nasty cough and a fever, along with other symptoms, and as soon as I said I felt my symptoms were exacerbated by my allergies, the practitioner took that and ran with it. She listened to my lungs and said they were clear, the crackling breath that I can hear says otherwise. She did not make me cough or listen to much else that I said after I mentioned my allergies. As someone that has had lifelong issues with sinus infections and other allergy related issues, I did not come in expecting to be told that that was all that was wrong with me. I sincerely hope that my illness doesn’t get worse, because it’s certainly not getting better. Perhaps another practitioner is needed, the person before me had a very long appointment and I wasn’t seen until about 40 minutes after my scheduled time.
