MinuteClinic® Inside CVS Pharmacy® at 8 Pilgrim Hill Road, Plymouth, Massachusetts 02360
Sickness and injury do not follow any sort of schedule. They can creep up in the middle of the night or on a Sunday morning. To help, our MinuteClinic® is open Monday through Sunday, and we have evening hours as well. If you look for a walk in clinic near me you will see we are at the corner of Pilgrim Hill Rd and Samoset St. Stop in and visit us the next time you are not your best.
What happens at a visit?
If you are planning on visiting our clinic, the first thing you should do is go on our website to see how long the wait is. If it is long, consider making an appointment for a different time. If the wait is short, come right on in. Sign in at the kiosk and your name will be called when you are next. During your visit, a nurse practitioner or physician assistant will:
- Take your medical history and ask about current symptoms
- Perform a detailed exam
- Order a lab or diagnostic test, if needed
- Diagnose the issue and recommend treatment
Depending on the condition, treatment may include more conservative methods or a prescription. If it is a severe or emergency situation, the provider will refer you to the right facility. You may also be asked to follow up with your regular doctor after a certain period of time.
If medication or other first aid remedy is recommended, you can get it in our CVS Pharmacy® on your way out. The store also has a wide variety of other household items you may need, which can save you additional errands.

Immunizations & injections
The Centers for Disease Control recommends a number of vaccinations for children and adults, and we are able to administer them. Some of the ones you can get in our MinuteClinic® are the flu shot, pneumonia, shingles, DTaP, MMR, hepatitis A and B, meningitis, polio and Td. If you manage a company or are involved in the community, we can set up a flu clinic right where you are. Speak to our providers about this service.
Along with vaccinations, there are also a couple injections we offer for adults. The birth control injection is available for women on a prescription basis and is 99% effective when administered on schedule. We also offer the vitamin B12 injection, which may be prescribed for those with anemia or general weakness.
