Previously I’ve had positive experiences with MinuteClinic. But the one I had most recently made me a little less inclined to return unless I absolutely had to. The clinician I worked with was a bit judgmental, which was a bit surprising. Instead of her asking me the intake questions she answered for me on several, assuming because I had a chronic illness that I also had health issues that might be associated with it. I did correct her but overall, it was just a weird experience.
My appointment was at 9:50am. I arrived for 9:40 and there was one other individual in the waiting area. One person was being seen by the nurse. At about 9:50, the mom of the individual who was being seen came by with her dog. She opened the door to the clinic where her son was and began chatting with the nurse. With the door open, she and the nurse chatted away (while the son walked about the CVS) and continued random conversation until at least 10:20. The lack of consideration that the mother displayed was appalling, but how could the nurse just continue the conversation?!?! The other woman in the waiting area with me (who had a 9:30 appointment) got up to ask if she would be done soon. The nurse said “I’ll be finishing up with this patient soon and call next appt.” That patient was DONE! For an “urgent care” there was NO sense of urgency or care.
The employee was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! She really took the time to help me and showed that she really cared about providing me the best service. The visit really stood out to me for her excellent service! She went above and beyond!!
Very professional and nice
I am not satisfied because I didn’t received any services that went there for
Signing up was way and location was close. Only thing is share update if the clinic is behind and the new expected time.
I can’t swallow any food and my throat is swollen. How do I not have strep. Makes no sense. For $211 dollars you should have sent a full strepp not just the rapid test.
The practitioner was very good. She was professional, courteous and resolved our issues. I had a 4:10 appointment for my young daughter and was double-booked in CVS' system with another lady. There was a medical issue with the patient before us and then the lady with the competing 4:10 appointment cut in ahead of us. In total, we waited almost a full hour. Not enough chairs in the waiting area so I pulled one from the vaccination corner. I didn't dare leave the waiting area for fear we would lose our place again so I asked the pharmacy if I could pay for my cold medications. The woman standing behind the pharmacy register refused and told me to go to the front-of-store check out. There was no line at the pharmacy check-out.
Patient seating was very limited. Wait time after arrival for my appointment was 30+ minutes, although it's possible that I just happened to have an appointment at a busy time.

I was able to make a same-day appointment online easily, get in to see a provider quickly, obtain a test result in minutes, and receive a prescription only minutes later at the pharmacy. As healthcare appointments go, this was by far the most efficient and easily accessible appointment I have experienced, condensing several steps that are usually separate (scheduling, meeting with a provider, obtaining a test result, and filling a prescription) and cumbersome into a single unified experience. The provider I met with was also exceptionally kind and competent.
