The waiting area was clean and it was easy to find. I was taken in quickly after getting there and the service I received was great. My prescription from my visit was ready quickly after the nurse sent it in.
With it being early in the day, I was able to quickly follow my Red Team's guidance to see a doctor within 4 hours of my triage. CVS Minute Clinic was one of the recommended places to go, and it was the closest location. CVS Minute Clinic takes VA Care, and as a veteran covered by the VA hospital, this was very important to my family and I. Also, it was easy to add myself to the Waitlist for the Minute Clinic as well as see my status. There was a short wait before Providerry[...] called me into her office. She immediately greeted me, asked me to have a seat, and took my vitals while asking me the reason for my visit. After telling her and showing my left eye, she continued to assess me while asking about my current medications. The Provider wanted to make sure that whatever she prescribed, there would be no adverse reactions. In a matter of time, she was able to name my issue and assign medication that would heal me and was covered by the VA formulary. The Provider also directed that I make a follow up appointment with my Ophthalmologist. Finally, The Provider put in the prescription which I was able to have filled at CVS before I left the building. I am so thankful for Providerry[...].
Quick & friendly service.
I came in for a physical and for the reflexes, this nurse practitioner did not hit my knee or ankles in any of the right spots, so of course my reflexes aren’t going to work. Also they decided not to take my insurance (which they always have) so it was 100 dollars out of pocket for a physical I could’ve done better on.
I felt that the provider listened to my concerns thoroughly and did a great job of addressing those concerns during this visit.
The nurse practitioner I worked with The Provider was amazing I enjoyed our conversation and interaction. She did an amazing job of explaining the entire process
I had to pay $209 for the Covid booster vaccine I received. I've never had to pay ever before. I paid w/ Tricare, but I should have used Medicare. I just turned 65 and didn't think about now being covered by Medicare. The 2 staff were also surprised that I was getting billed $209 and maybe they should have explored or thought with me of why I needed to pay. When I got home, it occured to me that I am now a Medicare recipient and should have paid with Medicare instead of Tricare, since I've paying >$200 a month now for a few months for Medicare.
Appointment made online, reminded with a text, showed up and walked roght in at appointment time. Dr was friendly, undertood what I needed, took care of me and I was out of there. This is how all health care should work. Thank you!
