I need to lose weight because I have knee arthritis and lymphedema bad in my legs, I also have thyroid disease. I am 5:6 weight 194 . The doctor sent a referral to my insurance company for Ozempic , I am not a diabetic. My insurance turned me down they said if she had asked for Wegovy or Zepbound which is used for weight loss I most likely would have been approved. So it just cost my insurance company money. She is a Doctor she should know you can’t get Ozempic when you are not a diabetic. So no I wasn’t satisfied with the visit because in my opinion she should have known what to proscribe. So I feel it’s just a money maker for your stores!!
