Wide range of health services
Sure, we can bandage minor cuts, treat insect bites and give you a flu shot, but there’s much more to MinuteClinic® services. Each team member is highly qualified and holds certification as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Our health professionals can assess and treat many conditions, including:
- Upper respiratory and sinus infections
- Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
- Psoriasis and other skin conditions
- Burns, cuts, blisters and minor wounds
- Joint pain, muscle strains and sprains
- Diabetes and high cholesterol screening
- Pregnancy evaluation
- Mono and STD treatment
- Oral and mouth pain
- Pink eye and styes
Along with diagnosing these conditions, we’ll help educate you about them, sharing information on heart-healthy exercises, foods that cause heartburn and how to read nutrition labels. We also offer help for those wanting to lose weight or stop smoking.
Mouth and oral conditions
Do you experience pain or discomfort when talking, eating or drinking? Mouth sores, white or yellow spots on the tongue, dry mouth or an odd taste in your mouth may be signs of conditions such as oral thrush, dry mouth syndrome or hand/foot and mouth disease. We’ll examine your symptoms and develop a plan for treatment that could include prescription medications or over-the-counter products.
Flu shots and immunizations
Sometimes colds and influenza have the same symptoms, including a sore throat and coughing, stuffy nose, sneezing and more. Our practitioners can evaluate your symptoms and begin appropriate treatment to help you start feeling better. While you can’t prevent a cold, you can get protection from influenza—in most cases—with a simple flu shot at MinuteClinic®. Get your family members in early for a seasonal injection that can help you avoid the physical miseries that come with the flu. A high-dose version is available for seniors over 65.
We also provide immunizations to help safeguard against childhood diseases such as mumps, measles and polio, and vaccination updates for older children and adults that include HPV and meningitis. Doctor-recommended pneumonia vaccine for adults and seniors is also available.
