The nurse practitioner was very thorough, caring and helpful.
She was very kind and considerate
I really appreciate the convenience without compromising my quality of care. In my last few visitis, my NP has been patient, resourceful, and timely. She makes me feel at ease while explaining my syptoms so that she can quickly determine the root casue and the next courses of action. I never really enjoy having to go to an urgent care center, but when Nurse Practitioner The Provider-[...] is there, I'm immediatley at ease.
Providerlin was the NP that saw me. She seemed kind. I tested positive for The Provider and she gave me a note for 3 days off from work. I walked out of the office and realized she didn’t give me a prescription for me any medicine. I knocked on her door and asked her for the prescription I need to take for The Provider and she said there was nothing I could take and that I just need to rest and drink plenty of fluids. I explained to her that my mom also tested positive for Providervid at a different minute clinic and that NP gave her a prescription for medication. The Provider insisted that there was nothing she could prescribe me. After I left, I contacted my mom to find out the name of the medication the nurse practitioner she saw gave her. She told me she was prescribed Paxlovid. I called The Provider but could not get through and I could only leave a message so she could call me back. She called me back and I asked her why didn’t she prescribed me pax Providervin and she stated because it’s not free. I told her I am not concerned about whether it is free or not. My concern was not getting worse and that I should be prescribed the medication that is available regardless of what she thinks I can pay for. I felt greatly discriminated against because I am a person of color and it felt like she assumed that I could not afford the medication. I am considering contacting an attorney because of this. After I told her I am not concerned with the price of the medication she said “OK OK OK I will write you the prescription. Where do you want it sent?“
The provider at this location was phenomenal. Didn’t rush and took time to understand my issues.
The practitioner was very knowledgeable. Explain everything to me in a manner I could understand.
The Provider
It was easy on line to set up the appointment for my DOT physical. The entire procedure was timely.
The Provider the practitioner is great! The schedule seems to fall behind easily since the systems are slow and take up most of the visit and my appointment took place an hour later than I booked.
