The provider who saw me never washed her hands. She simply put gloves on and then proceeded in examining me. Washing your hands is the most basic and easy rule to follow and the litmus test for quality of any provider. FAIL
NP was caring and thorough, great representation of the product.
The NP, The Provider was amazing. She was an efficient, self-sufficient warrior.
The PA was very pleasant, listened to what my concerns were, and put me on the appropriate medications to address my isssue.
It was quick and professional
The practitioner, The Provider, seemed a bit standoffish/snappy at the beginning of my appointment but did improve as time went by. He asked if I had a primary doctor, but as I did not want these records sent there, I just said “yes”— his response was, “Ok do they have a name?” No, The Provider, they don’t have a name. They are nameless. ???? Just felt like a weird attitude from a practitioner who sees people when they’re sick. I was prescribed a medication I cannot have with an existing health condition I told him I have, and I did not notice until I got home. I cannot fault him on this as it is a more rare condition and many providers are not aware of it. I called the CVS MinuteClinic support number and they sent him a message requesting a different medication, which he quickly received and processed. I am thankful for his efficiency and willingness to update the oversight on both our parts.
