Intended for adults and kids ages 2 and up, Tylenol Child & Adult Oral Suspension Liquid Medicine provides temporary relief from minor aches and pains, headache, fever and sore throat. Each five-milliliter dose of this liquid medicine contains 160 milligrams of the pain reliever and fever reducer acetaminophen to temporarily reduce fever and help relieve minor aches and pains including sore throat, headache, menstrual and premenstrual cramps, and toothache. This pain & fever relief medicine from comes in a family-friendly cherry flavor and is dye-free, alcohol-free, ibuprofen-free, aspirin-free, paraben-free, and high fructose corn syrup-free. Children 2 years to under 12 years:
Find the right dose on the chart below. If possible, use weight to dose; otherwise, use age.
Remove the child protective cap and squeeze the dose into the dosing cup
Repeat dose every 4 hours while symptoms last
Do not take more than 5 times in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor
Do not take for more than 5 days unless directed by a doctor. Do not take more than 5 doses (100mL) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Take 20mL (2 x 10mL) every 4 hours while symptoms last. For adult dosing, the dosing cup needs to be filled to 10mL line twice
Do not take for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor
Other information: each 5mL contains: potassium 5mg
Store between 20-25°C (68-77°F). Do not use if carton tape or bottle wrap imprinted with "TYLENOL" is broken or missing

Warnings: Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if your child takes: more than 5 doses in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount; with other drugs containing acetaminophen. Allergy alert: Acetaminophen may cause severe skin reactions. Symptoms may include: skin reddening; blisters; rash. If a skin reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away. For rectal use only. Do not use: if you are allergic to acetaminophen; with any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription). If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist. Ask a doctor before use if: the child has liver disease; the child is taking the blood thinning drug warfarin. Stop use and ask a doctor if: fever lasts more than 3 days (72 hours), or recurs; pain lasts more than 5 days or gets worse; new symptoms occur; redness or swelling is present in the painful area. These may be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed or in case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222). Quick medical attention is critical in case of overdose for adults and for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
