I asked the physician if she could print a few pages of forms for me (this was a Camp Forms visit). She said that she could not. I asked the pharmacist. He said I could fax it to him (who does fax?) and then he suggested I go to the front desk. I asked the cashier and she directed me to the Photo Prints kiosk. By now, my appointment was already 15 minutes into my time… I proceeded to spend another 10 minutes trying to print a Business Document. I was OK with the 29¢ fee but the wait and the hoops that I had to jump through —using an iPhone, no less— was frustrating and surprising. I even had to call the national 800 customer service number because the store employees were having trouble printing my 4-page PDF document. Finally, it printed… on glossy photo paper. Ridiculous. But the most frustrating part was when I walked my documents back to the doctor’s clinic room, and she surprised me by handing forms to me. That she printed. From her desk in the clinic. She had already filled out all of the areas that she was able to complete. So I had wasted all of that time for nothing. I tried to be polite about it. She must have sensed my frustration because she apologized but I’m like, why didn’t she ask me first? After she told me “no?” What if she had printed and completed the wrong forms? Why would she print and fill out forms without asking me first if they were the correct forms? Why didn’t she notify me once she had printed them? She had clearly been filling them out the whole time that I was up front at the Photos kiosk. She’d got to be the dumbest doctor I’ve ever met in my life.

The NP was kind during the appointment—answered questions, provided helpful tips to keep in mind. Unfortunately, my pharmacy advised the prescription has not been called in yet (appointment was at 10:20a yesterday). I haven’t been able to contact the clinic. I even called the store and spoke to an associate who said she would relay my message but I haven’t heard back.

Provider was 45 Minutes late and I was the first appt of the day. Didn’t provide any updates. She entered my height wrong, didn’t take my vitals but entered fake information into the chart. Only exam she did was listen 4 little spots on me. Didn’t look at nose, mouth. Very inadequate exam.

I was in a bad place when I came in. She was patient and very kind. She took her explaining and made sure I was completely ok before leaving. She rock! Thank you

The Nurse Practitioner gave clear directions for how to treat my son's symptoms & walked us to the Cold/Flu A&B/RSV home test to make sure we purchased the right item.

I was actually going to take time to reach out to the manager of this store. Our NP was AMAZING. She put our daughter at ease and was truly delightful. We are so grateful for her!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is GLP-1 and how does it help with weight loss?

GLP-1 medications work by imitating a natural hormone that regulates insulin and appetite. They help reduce cravings and improve blood sugar control, which can lead to weight loss when combined with diet and activity changes.

How can I get prescribed Ozempic® or another weight-loss medication?

A licensed MinuteClinic® provider will evaluate your health history, medications, BMI (Body Mass Index) and lifestyle. If you're a good candidate, they can prescribe GLP-1 medication either in person or virtually.

Is semaglutide covered by insurance?

Insurance coverage can vary. Some plans cover semaglutide for weight loss, while others may require prior authorization. Our staff can help you determine your benefits.

How much does semaglutide cost with or without insurance?

Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your insurance and eligibility for savings programs. Our team can guide you through the process and help you understand your financial options.

How do I know if I'm eligible for weight-loss medication?

Your provider will look at your full health profile, including your medical history, current medications, BMI (Body Mass Index) and lifestyle habits to see if GLP-1 treatment is a good fit for you.
