Sore throat and stuffed up nose. Diagnosed with a cold
She was able to squeeze us in before leaving for the evening. My son had been in bed all day throwing and unable to keep food down, missing a day of school. She put in the script and we waited just 10 mins for it. He was back in school the next day.
I was very happy with the level of care that I received from the practitioner. She was very professional and took the time to listen to my concerns and answered my questions. She determined that I needed an antibiotic and called that prescription in for me so that I could start the necessary treatment as quickly as possible.
I think this type of "shotgun" medicine is not that good. Neither of my issues have been resolved. I did get a bill and purchased prescriptions but neither seem effective. A nurse practitioner is not a great visual diagnoser, in my opinion.
Prompt and thorough care. NP was right on schedule and appreciated her attention to my issues.
Very Satisfied
Visit was quick and easy. Provider was not dressed professionally (looked like pajamas) and did not even introduce themselves.
The Provider was very professional and capable. She was able to remove all my ear wax, which was quite an ordeal!
The first FNP had a very positive interaction, being personable and knowledgeable. However, when I returned for my TB test reading, the second FNP was less friendly and appeared somewhat standoffish. I also noticed there are several breaks throughout the day, and they seem to see only a small number of patients. Despite having an appointment, you don't get seen immediately; it typically takes 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes longer, before you're called.
