I felt that I was carefully listened to and shown respect.

It was opposite, the nurse practitioner did not have time to listen to what I had to say.

I felt health matters were explained in a way that was easy to understand (i.e., after-visit care, taking medications, addressing my health problems or concerns).

I ended up not taking the vaccine because the nurse practitioner appeared to be overwhelmed by work on that day. He said he was the only one at work because the other nurse was sick and that work was too much for him. He said all this because I had asked if there was any remedy he would recommend for a cold which I had indicated in the system. His voice tone was high and he didn’t like the reason why I asked for a cold remedy when I was scheduled for a vaccine. That is when I told him I had patiently waited for over an hour, my appointment was delayed by more than an hour. I thought the nurse practitioner would have done better and addressed me differently.
