Easy scheduling, travel vaccine required was available
The practitioner was extremely helpful, friendly, and made the process effortless. My only critique is not of them at all, but rather the insurance processes, which I know are not entirely the fault of CVS. It would, however, be very helpful to know when I'm deciding whether or not to use your services, precisely how much my insurance will cover. I had to dig to determine that CVS partners with Quest (and the practitioner was kind enough to confirm this during the visit), but even then it was not clear exactly how much of CVS's costs and how much of Quest's costs would be covered. I had to provide detailed insurance information in order to book my appointment, and once there, it was just a series of fairly basic questions to determine which billing categories my situation falls into and therefore precisely what I owe. Why could this not be done at scheduling time? It is extremely difficult (in this country, not only at CVS) to make educated decisions about healthcare if costs are unknown until after the services are rendered. Add to this my uncertainty about Quest: I still don't know if I will receive a bill from them. On their website, Quest indicated that "At least some of my costs may be covered by my insurance", which is so mealymouthed as to be useless. This is, of course, Quest, and not CVS, but as CVS chooses to partner with them, they are an inextricable part of your service. Overall, I can't entirely blame CVS for the way this country handles healthcare, but surely at least CVS's relationship with Quest, and the potential for additional costs from them, could be explained, and ideally even more accurately estimated prior to booking.
Great service!
Nurse practitioner was very thorough, kind, and caring. She took the time needed to work through my symptoms and allergies to find the perfect treatment!
Great practitioner.
The doctor was amazing, however I got chemical burns from the silver nitrate. My skin boiled and is now raw and it was all over my stomach not just over the little area.
Care was professional, efficient and caring.
This is a great service provider, especially when away from home and cannot se your usual doctor. The only problem I had was the prescription for Prevastatin… I asked for a 90-day supply with refills but was only given a 30-day supply.
Compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable
