Excellent doctor and seevice
I’ve never been to a CVS Minute Clinic before. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had a feeling I might have the flu so I decided just to go to a small clinic rather than trying to see my PCP. Scheduling was easy, intake was easy and smooth and time spent with the practitioner was also smooth.
The provider was polite, thorough, and extremely professional.
The NP was good. I believe she was training that day with another young lady. They both did an excellent job and took care of my needs. My left ear had wax in it so she used a spray bottle and flushed it out with warm water. Worked! During my appointment, I noticed the sink on the exam room! It was nasty!! The water in SA is hard water. Care needs to be taken to clean sinks and remove the lime deposits that leave a look of filth! I was in a make-shift medical facility and the sink was unsightly! I’m assuming the rest of the small exam room was clean. After looking at that sink, I wondered.
The young lady that saw me was an expert. Very professional and knowledgeable but also caring. I highly recommend going to CVS clinic in Helotes TX.
I was able to quickly get in and out with a diagnosis and prescription.

My experience with the service I received was excellent; however, the cleanliness of the bathroom required for this service was unacceptable. Any level of cleanliness and availability of paper was simply not there. It tainted my decision to return to minute clinic, if I know I will have to use the available restroom.
