The lady was rude did not do anything to help me get better. Just told to buy mucinex for bronchitis. Did not give me anything for my cough. Was not even done with me and she started helping somebody else. Worthless.
MinuteClinic is great for the community. The experience and communication was superb. I will be visiting MinuteClinic again.
The PA was not familiar with supportive gear for athletes so essentially denied my daughter's physical because she wears ankle braces. She wears them as more preventative measure but was denied clearance on her physical because she does wear them. We paid $82 for this and am very unsatisfied with the lack of experience and awareness of a pretty basic gear.
EASY TO HAVE NEEDS TAKEN CARE OF
My employee wellness visit was basically consistent of blood pressure, finger stick for sugar and she put a measuring tape around my waist. Keep in mind this was an employee wellness visit I was charged $7.95 for practically nothing I received orders to go to a lab clinic to do my A1 level and my lipids those were not even done at the facility. I'm not sure what wellness she did for me, she didn't weigh me she asked me how much I weighed I know others on my team that I work with who went to other minute clinics and were given the full wellness visit. They were weighed, they got their A1 level checked, they had the finger stick the blood pressure check, the representative physically checked the stomach area for any inconsistencies, and followed up with a small consultation basically nothing like what I experienced I have already spoken to Aetna and to minute clinic representatives today Saturday so I have to wait until during the week. But I feel like if two or three people on my team got all their testing and all their wellness visit completed properly and mine wasn't now I have to go to a separate location to a lab to get the same labs that they got at their minute clinic visits I feel like there may have been something wrong at the location I went to which is in San Antonio Texas on culebra near my work. They should not have been a charge for this visit it was a preventative basically employee wellness.
Went in for a A1c rating in the the doctor couldn’t get the cholesterol machine working or they went seen machine working so then I had to go to a lab Corp. to get my numbers. She wasn’t the one that normally works there. There’s normally two women that work there so she might must’ve been familiar with them machines.
Easy check in process. Clean comfortable waiting area.
Quick wait time. Provider was professional, understanding, and able to help!
Providerm actually quite frustrated about my visit.

I went into minute clinic at 7603 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251 hoping that I could be treated without having to go to urgent care because the cost of urgent care clinics are much higher than what I can afford. The Provider-[...], NP refused to treat me because she felt the abscess I had was too complex for her to treat and she said I needed to have it excised, drained, and cultured. She didn't even look at it she flat out just didn't want to treat me at all. My abscess was already drained it busted on its own I just needed antibiotics to prevent further infection. I told her this repeatedly. She still refused. She said it would not be the right thing to do and that she could lose her license. So I reluctantly went to Texas Med Clinic only because my mother said she would pay for it I had no other choice so I went and they didn't even touch it or culture it the staff took a look at it for all of 10 seconds and said yeah you need antibiotics. They never examined it further. They happily prescribed me antibiotics and sent me on my way. I filled the doxycycline at a different CVS (9140 Guilbeau rd San antonio tx) the same day. So is that where we are now in health care where certain conditions are above people's pay grade? We now have to go into medical debt just to get basic care? I would have gone to my primary but they don't have same day or even same week appointments its usually 2-3 weeks to get appointments. Minute clinic has been a great resource for me in the past but this time I feel like I did not get the care I should have due to the nurse choosing self preservation over compassion. This is not okay.
