My kid tested positive for Flu B at CVS minute clinic as we were leaving on a cruise 48 hours later. The nurse refused to test other members of the family or prescribed Provideriflu as a prophylactic (obviously with separate appointments/copay). We had to seek medical help from other providers the next day (3 doctors in total, one for each member of the family voa telemed) who all said Provideriflu was appropriate to start given exposure in the same hold and upcoming travel plans. This delay in care resulted in my 7 years old daughter to have the flu very bad on the cruise as tamiflu is most effective the earlier it is started.
It was an excellent experience the PA that took care of me was very professional, very nice and I was in and out in jut a few minutes.
The Nurse who attended me (Providerline) was very thorough, knowledgeable, professional and very caring.

I frequent various CVS stores on a regular basis. I know what to expect. This particular location exceeded my expectations. Thr store itself was large as was the dedicated Minute Clinic area. It was clean and basically very civilized compared with your 'typical Urgent Care type' locations. The NP was really friendly professional courtous making the whole experience stress free.
