All went smoothly for our first time at Minute Clinic!

I sent this response in yesterday and had nothing but the highest praise for The Provider N/P who examined me. She is only given 20 minutes for each patient visit. NEVERTHELESS she not only gave me quality care, answered any questions and totally met my needs without seeming the least bit rushed herself. I have nothing but praise for the staff I have met at CVS: Providerher, [...] and others whose names I can't remember. The pharmacy staff is also terrific!

The care provider was wonderful. Scheduling the visit, as usual, was not. Double booking appointments for 10 min per patient works well for your bottom line, but not patients or providers. This is why I avoid shopping with CVS or visiting unless my other options are exhausted.

Very efficient. Provider answered all questions. Easy to make an appointment, no waiting.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit to the minute clinic in Chapel Hill. I visited because I was having cold symptoms. I was given a depression screening, which I guess may be standard. However, when I am feeling sick, I do not want to talk about my depressive symptoms with a doctor that I barely know. When I answered the depression screening questions honestly, the doctor looked at me like she couldn't believe that someone struggles with depressive symptoms. It was the first time I was embarrassed to admit that I struggle with mental illness. She then took time to call the suicide hotline even though I told her I was not suicidal at the time. When she decided to move on to my reason for the visit, she brushed over my exam. She tested me for flu, COVID, and strep, which was helpful. However, I wanted to make sure my ears were not infected and that my tonsils were not inflamed. She barely looked at either. Overall, I would never return to the minute clinic.

I was thankful to get treated and to get son antibiotics. I was not impressed with the NP. She was just short of being rude. Definitely lacking on empathy.

i visit the clinic at least once a month for a vitamin B12 shot. My regular providers, Provider and [...]ren, are outstanding and very personable.

Made appt day before for 8:40am. Next day went to check in and no one was there. There was sign on door saying clinic closed. I went to check if it was closed because I never had a notice my appt was canceled. Guy at front said he thought the sign was leftover from yesterday, to go ahead and wait and it would open soon. After appt was supposed to start guy at register said “they just called they might be a little late” (they were already late). Doctor got there an hour after my appt start time, then made a phone call on speakerphone with door open loudly arguing with a customer service representative for something and it was super awkward to listen to. Finally was seen. He was flustered, rushed, it felt really chaotic. Not his fault, I understand he was filling in for someone else and he does not normally work at this minute clinic location/didnt know where anything was. But it was still a bad experience. Got diagnosed with Covid and was given a prescription and an otc nasal spray. I couldn’t find the nasal spray (I’d never heard of it) went to pharmacy counter to ask for help. Young woman Pharmacy tech with curly hair said it was in aisle 15. I looked a few minutes and couldnt find it (I’m very sick with covid and don’t know what this med is) I went back to ask for help and she was SO rude and snapped at me that why don’t I ask the people up front because they’re the ones that stock the shelves…. Why would I know that as a customer?? The whole experience took like 2.5 hours while I was really sick and everyone was kinda mean/rude. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here.

Practitioner was an hour late to open the clinic in the AM. I understand that they were a fill-in, but that process should have been nailed down the day prior (as the clinic was closed entirely the day before). Making people wait for over an hour to be seen for an appointment negates the purpose of a “minute clinic.”
