The providers are always nice (so far anyway), they always listen, and they seem knowledgeable.

My nurse practitioner at the Gordon's Corner Minute Clinic qwas efficient & well-organized as she initially completed my extensive medical history & physical exam. She diagnosed my acute problem, clearly explained her findings, before providing a treatment plan during my visit. I would be most reassured to meet her again in the clinic should I need acute care. I made an appoint at the Gordon’s Corner CVS minute clinic bc I had great experiences at the minute clinic across town and this one was closer. I was asked to check in at 9:10am for my 9:30am appointment. I checked in at 9:15am and then had to wait until 9:50am to be seen by the provider. I was going in for a sore throat and fever. He fixated on my slightly elevated heart rate to which I assured him I as cleared by a cardiologist when he was lecturing me about not letting my heart rate go above a certain threshold. I made the mistake of mentioning panic attacks in the past in regards to the few times I had surpassed that threshold. He then asked what I was doing to manage my anxiety in which I told him I went to regular therapy. He as insisting I get a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea and would not let the subject go when I tried to reassure him I had been checked out by specialists and kept on top of my medical conditions. He was only able to perform a strep test since his clinic room was void of any way to test me for COVID, which was disappointing as I was finally being seen for the actual reason why I was there. While the strep test ran he returned to his topic and asked me why I did not want to treat my anxiety with medication. He respected my explanation and then I felt he gave me a once over and asked if I’ve tried exercising. I understood where his comment came from as I’m aware that regular exercise helps and I assured him I exercise regularly, see a therapist regularly (as I had told him earlier,) and kept a good diet. I understand the provider probably thought he was being helpful trying to educate me on something he thought I didn’t know but it had nothing to do with why I was there and came across as inappropriate. Early in the encounter I started to get emotional and ended up crying, not because of what he was saying but because I was upset about being sick while important events were happening in my personal life. Although I was clearly not needing to be lectured in that moment he persisted, even when I assured him I had been cleared by a cardiologist and get regular help with my mental health.

Overall the experience was positive. The NP who attended to me was kind and patient! And did everything she could to help me

Experience was easy going ! They listened to my problem and came up with a method to make me better!

The Provider was fabulous! She was welcoming, professional yet easy going, she was thorough, she listened, and she was patient!

Was taken at appointment time and it was a professional and respectful experience.
