I want to start by saying in the past I have always had very positive experiences at the CVS minute clinics. The practitioners and PAs I have seen have always given very thorough care. I had a different experience this past Saturday. The Provider seemed very unconcerned with my symptoms and before she even examined me told me it’s probably just viral. I came in because I completely lost my voice and had ear pain. She said my throat was inflamed and then I had fluid in my ear. All she advised was to do a nasal rinse and told me that OTC cold medicine was useless. She didn’t ask me many questions except if I normally had high blood pressure as my reading was high, which in my experience when you have a virus or an infection in your body, your blood pressure does elevate plus add in the fact that you are nervous at the doctor anyway. That was the least of my concerns, but seemed to be what she focused on. I just feel that the level of care I got was not up to what I have experienced in the past and now I am going to my primary doctor today as she was not in the office on Saturday, which is why I went to the medical clinic instead, but I do feel like that was kind of a waste of my time.
Very thorough visit, no issues.
Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful medical practitioner.
Very qualified professional. They explain what my issue is from my symptoms and makes the best recommendation for meds
The clinic is very clean and does not have much wait time. The practitioners are very kind, efficient and thorough.
They were pushing vaccines on me, after I say no to one, she asked about a second and a third. They need to stop pushing vaccines on people.
Very friendly service! She made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable
I waited 20 minutes and had to ask a CVS person if there was even anyone there, because there was no receptionist, or greeter to tell me what was going on. My appointment, which was scheduled for 10:00am, didn’t happen until 10:40am. The technician was pleasant, knowledgeable and apologetic about the delay. But clearly management knows about his issue, double and even triple booking people for the same time (there were three people with 10:00am appts.). And the technician was the only one scheduled to be there - it’s not someone was out sick. MinuteClinic reached multiple times via both text and email to make sure I was in time, but did not have the same respect for mine.
The Nurse Practitioner was professional and friendly and was very helpful.
